Sharon F.W. Myers “Mahpiya He Zi Win”, 53 of Flandreau, died Thursday, January 31, 2008 at the Avera Flandreau Medical Center.

Sharon was born November 25, 1954 in Flandreau to Elmer and Vera (Heminger) Weston. She received her education in Flandreau, graduating from the Flandreau Indian School in 1973. She attended Dakota State University in Madison and graduated in 1977. Sharon married Doug Forman in Flandreau and worked at McKennan Hospital in Medical Records as a transcriptionist. Sharon married David Myers on August 21, 2004 in Flandreau. She enjoyed reading, sewing, gardening and quilting.

Survivors include her husband: David of Flandreau; two sons: David and Daniel, both of Flandreau; three daughters: Brenda Weston of Flandreau, Lacy End of Horn of Brookings and Jo A. Myers, of Balaton, MN; her father: Elmer Weston of Flandreau; nine grandchildren: Tyler, Sage, Hawk, Wyatt, Dylan, Pierce, Eric, Raymond and Cheyenne; one brother: DuWayne and three sisters, Doreen (Bill) Bird, Sherry Weston and Cindy Weston, all of Flandreau. She was proceded in death by her mother, Vera; three brothers, Kenny, Lindsay and David and her grandparents.

Wake services were held at Eastman Hall in Flandreau.
