Irene LaVonne Whitesell, born May 20, 1947, a long time employee at Royal River Casino in Flandreau up until her illness, died in her home Friday evening surrounded by family. She is survived by two sons, Alex Sonny Fogg, Flandreau, Jason Mohr, Sioux Falls; three daughters, Tanya Sanchez, Sioux Falls, Michelle Mohr, Flandreau, and Theresa Merino, Sioux Falls; two brothers, Douglas Sargent, Sioux Falls and Angelo Tony Ramirez, Wellman, IA; two sisters, Lita Quinn, Minneapolis, MN, and Anna Olson, Sioux Falls; 12 grandchildren and 10 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Theresa Little Moon-Olson, son Tommy Fogg, brother Allan Olson, brother-in-law, Otto Iron Hawk, and a niece, Tiffany Ramirez-Klinetobe.
