Grace Moore Senior Citizens Center provides Thanksgiving Dinner

Thank you Grace Moore Senior Citizens Center for another scrumptious Thanksgiving meal. The FSST employees and elders were invited to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings at Eastman Hall on Thursday, November 19th .

Serving began at 11 am through 1 pm, Sara DeClerk – Director, Sally Allen – Cook, and Helena Thompson – volunteer kitchen help and many other volunteers that helped prepare and serve the meal.  Without the combined efforts of all volunteers. The GMSCC Thanksgiving meal wouldn’t have been able to provide for the 200 hungry people that arrived or provide seconds or thirds helpings for the 200 guest that arrived.

The GMSCC prepared nine turkeys, six gallons of gravy, eighteen dozen dinner rolls and around 28 cans of corn along with  all the trimmings

Sara DeClerk GMSCC Director would like to stated; “We appreciate all FSST Employees and Senior Participants and Families who came to enjoy our annual Thanksgiving feast on November 19.  Turnout was better than ever & the meal was wonderful!  Special thanks to all who served, helped set-up, and clean-up.”
