 Flandreau, SD- The Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe announces the hiring of two physicians, a Dentist and a Psychologist; Jeffrey Peterson, MD, John Niebel, MD, J. Graham Smith, DDO and John Sivesind, Psychologist.
Dr. Peterson is a Family Practice South Dakota-licensed physician with 20 years experience working for the McCloud Hospital in Minnesota and Mobridge Clinic in South Dakota. Dr. Peterson has renewed his contract for two years and will continue to serve as the Medical Director.
Dr. Niebel is a Family Practice Physician licensed in South Dakota with over 15 years experience. Dr. Niebel worked for Indian Health Service at the Winnebago Hospital, Winnebago, Nebraska, and at the Wagner Healthcare Facility, Wagner, South Dakota.
Dr. Smith is a South Dakota licensed dentist who is a recent graduate. Dr. Smith worked at Ft.Hall, Idaho, with five other Dentists for three (3) years prior to coming to Flandreau.
Dr. Sivesind is a South Dakota licensed and certified Psychologist. Dr. Sivesind has several years of experience in this field. He joined our team November 7, 2007 as Director of Behavioral Health.
