 FLANDREAU- Alexis Elise Craig, age 44, of Flandreau, South Dakota journeyed to the Spirit World on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at Flandreau Medical Center.
She was born in Flandreau on June 17, 1962 the daughter of Ervin and Barbara Wakeman Faulk.
She was a member of the Flandreau Santee Sioux Oyate.
Funeral services for Alexis Craig were held on Sunday, April 15th at 1:00 P.M. at The First Presbyterian church in rural Flandreau, South Dakota. Reverend Clifford Canku & Reverend Sidney Byrd officiated. Bill Beane was the organist for the funeral services. Singers and drum groups were provided by the Flandreau Indian School.
An all night wake was held at Eastman Hall in Flandreau, South Dakota on Saturday, April 14th.
She is survived by two children, Crystal and Dustin Craig; two brothers, Denis Faulk and Russell Todd; a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant twin girls and grandparents, Alexander and Elsie Wakeman. Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted, Minnesota served the family.
