MATTHEW W. SPRINGER
Matthew was born March 20, 1989, at Blufton, IN, to Larry and Michelle Springer. They moved to Flandreau in September of 1994 where he received his education in the Flandreau Public Schools. He played football in school, was an avid music lover, an extreme gamer, and always loved the girls. Matt was a history buff, liked going to pow-wows, spending time with his little brother, niece and nephew, and was a self-less protector.
Matt is survived by his parents, Michelle Springer, Flandreau, and Larry (Heather) Springer, Flandreau; four siblings, Ezra Springer and Lea Calhoon, Flandreau, Nicole Callahan, Decatur, IN, Zachary Bowlin, Blufton, IN; a nephew Lyric Reyelts; a niece, Madori Calhoon; grandparents, Gerald and Marcella Springer, Decatur, IN, Buzz Rederth, Flandreau, Delbert Eisenbraun, Al and Darlene Hagen; extended Red Earth/Allen Families; his best friends, Troy, Travis, Jordan, Levi, Mark, Dane, and Dustin; and countless friends and family.

Matthew's services were held Sunday, November 13, 2005, at 4:00 PM at Eastman Hall, Flandreau, South Dakota. Reverand Ron McKinney officiated the services.
