Friday, December 4th, 2009 11:30 a.m. at Eastman Hall was the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe Employee Christmas Party for all employees & their spouses. The FSST Christmas Party was hosted by the FSST Executive Council with the assitance of the Party Planning Committee – Deb Wakeman & Julie Stephens. The Eastman Hall was decorated in a traditional Christmas theme with Christmas trees along every table.
Before and during the meal the FSST Party Planning Committee was busy distributing the FSST Christmas Sweatshirts – provided by the Brownfield Program under Liz Wakeman, and the Christmas Cards from the FSST Executive Council each containing $100 cash and a $30 dollar gift card form Wal-Mart.
The meal was provided for by Grace Moore Senior Citizens Center the ladies from the Grace Moore Senior Citizens Center as always provided a wonderful meal of roast beef, ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, and fresh dinner rolls, along with strawberry shortcakes and pumpkin & apple pies for dessert. The meal was served by members of the FSST Executive Committee, President Joshua Weston, Vice-President Cynthia Weddell, Secretary Eloise Drapeau, Trustee III Gina Williams, Trustee II Richard Allen and Treasurer Gordon Jones.
After the meal all FSST employees were invited to the Royal River Family Entertainment Center for an afternoon of bowling & games.
