Judith Petersen, Hospitality Director, VIP Hospitality Services, Food & Beverage, Entertainment and the Group Sales staff organized and hosted the Tribal Member 17th Anniversary VIP Dinner  at the Royal Room, Royal River Casino on October 23, 2007. The Tribal membership was sent invitations to the anniversary dinner and entertainment. Approximately 275 Tribal members and their guests attended.
The evening schedule included a Social Hour from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. which included an open bar, fruit punch fountain and appetizers including shrimp cocktail, bacon wrapped scallops, vegetable & cheese trays, dips, fruit trays, breads and chicken drummies, to name a few of the delicious treats.
The buffet menu from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. was: Pork Loin with Apple Brandy Sauce, carved Baron of Beef, baby red potatoes, wild rice, vegetable medley, corn, salad and roll. For dessert there was a chocolate fountain with various dippers available for all chocolate lovers to enjoy.
 The entertainment started at 8:00 pm with Gordon Bird and the Little Birds band. The featured entertainer was Lauren Dragon, direct from Las Vegas, and is advertised as a multi-talented singer, and sings in five different languages. Ms. Dragon specializes in pop, blues, rock and R & B. 
The beautiful floral arrangements on the tables were given to the oldest lady sitting at that table (Darn! I wasn’t the oldest!) and everyone received a gift of a 2008 pocket/purse size Calendar/Time Management organizer.
 It was a great party and the membership had a great time, as you can see from the pictures.
The atmosphere for the anniversary party was festive and fun.
